About Ilmatar

Ilmatar

Ilmatar, in the mythical Finnish epos Kalevala godess of water and air, the godmother from whom earth, heaven and stars were born. "Finnish", "Water" and "Air", three pricipal words that represent our concept of Clothing Optional (Naturisme), Sauna, Wellness, Water and Nature.

Our rooms have Finnish names, which represent the 3 geografical areas of Finland:

• Espoo: a city in the south of Finland. The south is, geografically seen, the Coastal area of ca 30-130 km wide, a lower area, where you will find farmland and most of Finland's main cities.
• Inari: one of the biggest of the more than 60.000 Finnish lakes. It is situated in the Finnish lake area, in the middle of Finland.
• Lappi: Lapland in Finnish. Probably the most well-known area in the north of Finland.

And about us...

We are Jo and Ella, with our children Arthur and Imke.

In 2019 we took over this B&B. We like to welcome our guest in a family atmosphere. We live next door, so we will be around when you need us.

Off course we will make sure your stay will be pleasant and relaxing, with delicious breakfast.

Having a drink in our cosy seating area or on our terrace is, off course, allways a nice possibility.
